How speeding up works
Your video is uploaded over HTTPS and processed on Rekreate's servers with FFmpeg. The picture's timing is compressed by your chosen factor, and the frame rate is kept at a normal playback rate. The sound is time-stretched rather than played faster, which shortens it without raising the pitch.
The result is an H.264 MP4 with the picture and sound in sync. Uploads are deleted after processing, results after 60 minutes.
