Joining videos sounds simple until one clip is vertical and the other is horizontal, or one has sound and the other does not, and the result freezes halfway through.

Rekreate's free video merger handles all of that. Add two to four clips in order and it matches their size, frame rate and sound before joining them, so the finished video plays cleanly from the first frame to the last.

Why use this free video merger

Combine videos from different phones

Clips with different resolutions and frame rates are matched automatically before joining.

Merge vertical and horizontal videos

Every clip is fitted to the first clip's shape, with bars where needed — nothing is stretched.

Join clips with and without sound

A silent clip gets silence instead of breaking the audio for the rest of the video.

Merge MP4, MOV and WebM together

Mix formats freely; the result is one MP4.

No watermark on the merged video

Download a clean file with nothing added.

Combine videos online, no install

Works in any browser on computers and phones.

How to merge videos in 3 steps

  1. Add your clips in order

Put the first clip in the first box, the second in the second, and up to two more if you need them.

  2. Press Start

The clips are matched in size, frame rate and sound, then joined in the order you added them.

  3. Download one video

    Save the merged MP4.

Merge any kind of clip

Merge MP4 files

The most common case: two or more MP4s into one.

Combine iPhone videos

MOV clips from an iPhone join into an MP4 that plays on Android and Windows too.

Join GIFs and videos

Add a GIF between clips; it is converted and joined like any other clip.

Merge screen recordings

Combine several recordings of one tutorial into a single walkthrough.

Different sizes and frame rates

4K with 720p, 60 fps with 30 fps — all matched to one output.

Clips with no sound

Silent clips are joined with silence so the sound on the others stays in sync.

Use the video merger on any device

On Windows PC and Mac

Merge clips in any browser on Windows or Mac and download one MP4.

On iPhone and Android

On iPhone or Android, pick each clip from your gallery in order and save the merged video to your phone.

In any modern browser

Chrome, Safari, Edge and Firefox all work. There is no app, plugin or extension to install — the processing happens on our servers, so an old laptop is as fast as a new one.

Safe, private and free

No account, no sign-up

Open the page and use it. There is nothing to register and no email address to hand over.

Files deleted automatically

Your upload is deleted the moment processing finishes, and the result 60 minutes later. Files are not shared, published or used for anything else.

Encrypted in transit

Uploads and downloads go over HTTPS, the same encryption your bank uses in the browser.

No watermark, ever

The file you download is clean. No logo in the corner, no intro card, no "made with" frame at the end.

Video merger vs other ways to combine videos

vs. desktop editors

An editor gives full control, but for simply joining clips end to end it is a lot of setup.

vs. simple joiners

Tools that join without matching clips often freeze after the first clip or lose the sound. This one matches every clip first.

vs. phone apps

Many merge apps add a watermark or intro. The result here is clean.

Popular uses for the video merger

Combine clips for a Reel or TikTok

Join several short moments into one post.

Merge parts of a recording

Rejoin a recording that stopped and restarted.

Add an intro or outro

Put a branded clip before or after your main video.

Make a highlight video

Combine the best moments from several videos.

Join a split video back together

Recombine parts made with the video splitter.

How the video merger works

Your clips are uploaded over HTTPS and processed on Rekreate's servers with FFmpeg. Each clip is scaled and padded to the first clip's frame (up to 1920 pixels on the long side), set to 30 frames per second and 48 kHz stereo sound, and then all clips are joined in order into one H.264 MP4.

Matching the clips before joining is what prevents the freezes and lost sound that simple joiners cause. Uploads are deleted as soon as processing finishes, and the result 60 minutes later.

Frequently asked questions

How do I merge videos for free?

Add your clips in order to the boxes above and press Start. Download the merged MP4.

How many videos can I combine?

Two to four in one go. To join more, merge four, then merge the result with the next clips.

Can I merge videos of different sizes?

Yes. Every clip is fitted to the first clip's frame without stretching.

Can I combine vertical and horizontal videos?

Yes. The first clip sets the shape; the others are fitted inside it with bars where needed. Put the clip with the shape you want first.

Why does my merged video freeze in other tools?

The clips had different sizes or frame rates and were joined without matching. This merger matches them first.

What happens to clips without sound?

They get silence, so the sound on the other clips stays in sync.

Can I merge videos on my iPhone?

Yes. Open this page in Safari, add the clips from Photos in order, and download the result.

Can I merge MOV and MP4 files together?

Yes, formats can be mixed. The result is MP4.

Is there a watermark?

No.

What is the maximum size?

Up to 95 MB and 10 minutes per clip.

Can I add transitions between clips?

Not in the free merger — clips are joined with a straight cut.

Are my videos private?

Yes. Uploads are deleted after processing and the result after 60 minutes.
